Whitney Reuling, was named a by the Hunter College New York City Food Policy Center.
Whitney, who began working for ľֱ’s Aid in 2018, oversees six programs under our Go!Healthy umbrella. The programs provide cooking and nutrition education for children and youth in our programs, and access to healthy food to the communities we serve.
“I am pleased to be able to represent ľֱ’s Aid and the outstanding work of the Go!Healthy team,” she said. “I am also honored to be included in such a remarkable group of individuals who are so committed to creating a more equitable and sustainable food system for all New Yorkers.”
Whitney has a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and a master’s degree in Food Studies from NYU. She has led healthy cooking programs for organizations such as the Sylvia Center, Lantern Community Services, and Drive Change – working with young people who had a history of involvement with the foster care, public housing, or juvenile justice systems. We congratulate Whitney on this honor and for all the work she does to keep our families healthy.
